Assisti esse filme outro dia motivada por ser um roteiro do Nick Cave, que fez também a trilha sonora. A trilha é realmente sensacional, o roteiro muito bem escrito, aumentando ainda mais minha paixão pelo Nick, e tem uma direção realmente preciosa. Uma pequena obra de arte, um western de verdade e muito moderno. Tá tudo lá, moral, honra, liberdade... Daí deu um google nesse diretor John Hillcoat e descobri que fez vários videos do Nick Cave, e que foi ele que dirigiu essa versão ainda inédita para o cinema de The Road, do Corman McCarthy, que é um livro que amo. Fiquei muito curiosa para ver sua leitura daquela história, e muito empolgada porque ainda por cima quem faz o papel do pai é o Viggo Mortensen.

tô cagando para oscar e premiações em geral, mas não consigo evitar de ficar feliz em ver um filme do Gus Van Sant entre melhor filme, melhor diretor, melhor roteiro, etc.
